I get many types of customers. Chinese, Indochinese, Indonesians, Malays, Burmese, Laotians, Phillipinos etc etc. And of course in that group it consists of a whole damn bunch of kids.
Of course kids are going to be annoying. Of course they're going to be loud but usually the threat of 3 strikes and your computer's closed works on them. Unless of course it's the bunch of Indian kids.
Let me explain. Firstly, they are loud. I repeat: They are Loud. Secondly, they make noise and bitch that I never gave any warnings when they hit 3 strikes and I shut down their computers. Thirdly, they think they own the fucking place, trying to out talk me like they know they know the rules better than me and then get annoyed when they lose. Pfft.
Then the best part, one of them either stole/found a members card that is non-transferable and tried to pass it off as his own. Things to note: Kid is Indian and a well known trouble maker. Name on card is obviously Chinese.
So at first he tried to pass it off as his own, only to retreat and return with the rest of his gang who tried to convince Ijat (Co-worker on duty that day) that the card was his. And when it failed they tried to convince him that the card was given to him by said owner. Of course everything fell flat and my Boss Eugene and manager Suhaimi were brought in. They tried to deny ever having stolen the card and that a friend of theirs gave them the card. Of course everything was revealed when we called the owner up and found out that he lost the card. At which Boss called up his school and debated over launching a police report. But as parents do nowadays they came to the shop and begged for Boss to not push the issue. Honestly I have no idea why since the kid deserved having it on his record and public caning in front of the whole school but he said alright and pulled it back.
And lo and behold the same fucker still has the audacity to actually walk back into VID like he owns the place. You know, arms waving, the usual swagger and shit. *Snorts*
Making this post public? Hell yeah.
Pictures and name of the fucker? Still debating on it but if I do post it up it'll probably be f-locked.
Disclaimer: No names and pictures were distributed during the course of this rant. If the little fucker gets found out it's by no way my fault considering the fact that no name can be found in this rant.

Okay. Flamboyant gays I can stand, and considering the culture here in Singapore, I can take Indian accents as well. But a flamboyant gay with a seriously thick Indian accent who thinks that he's way, way, waay above you because he 1)Works for a big shot company and 2)Is a supposed "Foreign Talent" that came over because his company in India decided to send him? Pssh. Don't give me that bullshit.
I have had it with people who come in thinking they're bigger than you are because they go to work everyday and do nothing but sit on their asses in their big fancy offices high in their company's headquarters and basically exercise nothing but their voices shouting and screaming at their no-good useless subordinates who can't even get their coffee right.
Like just a couple of minutes ago said guy with thick Indian accent and a blue IC came in. Seriously. The minute he opened his mouth to talk my gaydar went off so bad I actually got a headache from it. But yes. He came in, asked for a computer and then expected me to turn it on for him or something. Like turning on the PC on your own will bloody well kill you. Anyways after that I returned to the damn counter only to have him come out a couple of minutes later looking annoyed and asking to close the computer. Puzzled, I went to look at the computer wondering what the hell just happened only to find out that the computer just started up. How fucking fast did you think our computers were? Even XP and Vista would need a couple of minutes to load everything including CCAuto (Which is the program we use to lock the PCs here until you open it from the counter).
But really. You're a big shot businessman doing multimillion dollar deals everyday. Know what I say? Who gives a flying fuck. You come in acting like a big shot slamming your card on the counter top and just walking off without getting the computer number, then come back pissed off cause you made a fool of yourself but blaming it on me and demanding what's the computer number? Don't give me that bullshit. I never asked you to walk off so fast in the first place. You know, normal people would at least request or tell the staff on duty which computer they want before walking off. My fault they're stupid and my fault I can't read minds. Pfft.
I'd love to see what they would do if everyone who worked under them or worked mundane jobs like cashiering and waiting on people actually go on strike. I wonder what those assholes would do then.
Of course then there's those kind of people who think that people like me should do nothing and just sit around waiting like a little puppy to help them settle all their needs.
Do the world a favour and just die. And bring all your little spawns with you. We have enough people like Bush around.

Before I start, I'm apologizing for spamming your F-list with a binge of overly emotional and tiring posts the past few times. Yes, this is a rant. Yes, I'd very much like to put it under a cut but I have a reason not to. And this time, I'm saying what it is exactly that's annoying me rather than making everyone guess.
Somehow, things just seem much easier to say here rather than face to face.
So, I've been working at VID for almost a year now (might be longer I lost count) and I'm on the verge of snapping.
So bosses like people who suck up and brown nose them and go out regularly for meals with them and whatnot. And in that sense it's just like everyone else. Who doesn't like for someone else to do that to them? Bosses, get it more often than not because they are people in power. And because they're people in power, this particular thingum just happens very often.
But really, not everything is about face and surface. Sometimes you have to consider the facts and sums of things.
Some people are just better in social situations, some people shy away from them. Me? Online interaction's a whole lot easier for me in general. I just suck at physical interaction, no matter how I try.
In all honesty, favoritism isn't my cup of tea, but hell even I'm guilty of it. But when you take that favoritism to a whole new level and make it such that it's "IN YOUR FACE ASSHOLE" obvious, then of course someone's gonna take offense at it.
I'm not pissed over the difference in pay (A dollar just makes that much more difference. Life becomes a whole lot more livable you know?), I'm not pissed at being treated like dirt and shit and being stepped all over on. What pisses me off, is something that pisses me off even if friends do it constantly.
Punctuality.
Do it once in a while (Like once a month or once in two months) and I'll let it slide. But do it all the time and I'll fuck you over good, even if you're a friend. And when you're someone who doesn't give a flying fuck and shoves you one side when you make a fucking attempt to be nice and tolerate everything? Any normal person will be pissed.
You had a problem with me and instead of bringing it up and talking over it with me directly and nicely, you chose to go instead with the option of embarrassing me outright. So fine. I do it now. Except on the net.
Fuck you Job. You come late and you act like it's your fucking right. No apologies, no excuses, no attempt no nothing. And then you become pissed when I write you down as late.
WHAT FOR. YOU DON'T GET YOUR FUCKING PAY DEDUCTED EVEN IF YOU COME A FUCKING HALF HOUR LATE. NOT LIKE THE REST OF US COMMON FOLK.
And again, for reasons I'm not gonna fucking bother with, this post is unlocked. For the world to see.

GO HOME AFTER YOUR FUCKING SHIFT AND SLEEP THEN. You need to wait for your parents to be back before eating dinner? DUDE. YOU'VE ORD-ED FROM THE FUCKING ARMY. And oh did I mention that you have a tendency to stay till late afternoon-evening time gaming before going home? And that he actually lives in the same street/district as I do, and that the bus I take to work actually potentially goes past the area he stays?
No? Well, now you know.
So. Am I being bratty or am I being logically pissed? I'd love to hear your comments on the issue. If I'm wrong, I'll take my words back and fucking apologize. If not...

On a side note, dead batteries are the best way to repair an mp3 player. Or at least this particular one.

You, for people supposedly from one of the top JCs in Singapore, the fact that no uniforms are allowed in the shop seems to elude them. And when I chase them out because they're in obvious violation of the damned rule, they're not happy and try to argue back. That, and it's ALWAYS the same group of people who do the same mistake and they never seem to learn from it. It's the little things like this that makes me wonder if the R in RJC stands for Raffles or Retarded. Of course, I've met some smart ones as well but seriously? *Shakes head*
That, and I noticed that a good portion of the regulars here absolutely just cannot STAND people from Raffles. And that the Malay Whitely Boys are more fun to serve. =D
But, seriously. Brains much? Even the bengs here are more fun to serve, and have a hell lot more common sense. Like Ricey said, no people skill. >>;;;
In other news, Luna Moonfang is fun, and has officially replaced Lightning Revenant as my main on DotA. =D
